Alternative energies

GENERATION SYSTEM
ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

  • ADVANTAGES

    • Flexibility
    • Reduced Size
    • Quick build
    • Unlimited resources
    • They are totally autochthonous
    • Can be Combined by other power generators
    • Very low maintenance costs
    • Surpluses can connect to the network
  • Disadvantages

    • Depends on weather conditions (wind, sun, rain)
    • Need a significant volume of storage batteries
    • Higher deployment costs
  • Conclusions

    • Alternative energies allow you to obtain electrical energy where there is no possibility of getting from the grid.
    • Although the construction costs are higher, there is no alternative to solving isolated areas and it is clean energy without emission.

Applications

It is the use of alternative energies (solar, wind and mini-hydraulics), to obtain autonomous electrical energy for the feeding of:

  • Population water pumping centers
  • Electric Power from Desalination and Wastewater Facilities
  • Rural and isolated electrification
  • Communication and remote control signals transmission
  • Hot sanitary water
  • Automatic irrigation systems

Solar energy

It consists of obtaining electricity from the capture of solar radiation through a capture panel.

Production is conditioned to the radiant energy of the area.

Eolic Energy

Wind systems use kinetic energy from the wind to produce electricity.

Production will depend on the direction and speed of the wind.

Mini Hydraulic Power

Hydropower is the energy that can take advantage of a river's waterfalls but on a small scale, without the need to build large dams or dams with very low environmental impact.

Production will depend on the height of the jump and the volume of water contributed.
